What age range of dogs do you accept for training?

We accept all ages and all breeds beginning at 8 weeks.

How do I book a training session/daycare slot?

You must begin by filling out our informational "Let’s Get Acquainted" form. Once we receive that form and assess our methods are aligned with your goals, you will hear from a team member to set up an in person evaluation. Once accepted into our program you will gain access to our members only portal where you can book training sessions with you canine coach or daycare slots. We must build a rapport and ensure that you have the opportunity for you and your canine to meet the person that you will be working with.

How much should I expect to invest for my canine's enrollment?

Individual training programs (program dependent) begin at $399 per month. Group programs begin at $299 per month. We also have customized payment plans depending on you and your canine's needs.

What is your cancellation/rescheduling/refund policy?

There are no refunds for our services once a payment is made. No exceptions. Training cancellation policy is within 72 hours. If you cancel your training session within 72 hours, you will forfeit the session. Sessions that are canceled before 72 hours. You will be able to reschedule them based off of the availability of your Canine Coach. Any complementary services that are booked as a courtesy cannot be rescheduled if canceled. They will incur a charge to be rescheduled.

What vaccinations are required for training/daycare?

We practice holistic living even with our canines so for private sessions we accept titer test (immunity test), as well as rabies, and bordetella. For group sessions, or events the same applies. All canines must have age-appropriate vaccines if a recent titer test has not been presented.

Do you offer any packages or discounts for long-term stays or multiple sessions?

We offer training specials year round. We do not offer any additional discounts outside of those specials.

Do you offer individual or group training sessions?

We offer both individual and small group sessions.

What training methods do you use?

Will utilize the L.I. M. A method. No shock, no pain, no fear. Our methods help the canine to make the right choice. Most importantly to listen when it counts. We also utilize positive reinforcement methods by way of clicker training, reward based training in turn helping the canine to make the right choice. 

How long does each training program typically last?

Programs last between 3 to 4 months. You’ll see your Canine Coach 3-4 times per month unless it’s a 4 week express program. 

What qualifications do your trainers have?

All of our canine coaches have completed professional canine training certifications from reputable organizations such as the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers (CCPDT) or the Association of Professional Dog Trainers (APDT). These certifications require trainers to demonstrate their knowledge and skills in areas such as canine behavior, training techniques, and ethical practices. In addition to completing programs through university education. 

Can owners attend training sessions with their dogs?

Our training is 100% team work. Most canine challenges or those lacking obedience is due to lack of human knowledge or human error, so we strongly encourage at least one the family member to attend training sessions. 

How do you ensure the safety of canines in your care?

We have all training areas gated off and during most sessions keep a locked door. On the days that our facility has daycare, the door remains locked as canines are able to free roam. If there is any opening of any doors, we ensure that all are placed back in the generalized area where there are gates present. Ensuring safety during play we have multiple rooms that have, a structured environment and a number of team members meeting ratio 1 person to 4 nines. This way we can oversee and ensure that if there is any rough play it is able to cease.

How do you handle medical emergencies or health issues with canines in your care?

During training services if there was an emergency to arise, our staff is CPCR trained with first aid as well. If it's something that we cannot handle in house, we will then go to the closest veterinarian emergency center or to the families primary vet. If left in our care the same rules apply- we will follow the form provided and take the canine to the closest emergency veterinarian center or the canine's primary vet.

Do you offer daycare, boarding, or both?

We offer both services to current clients and graduates of Woof Houze programs.

What is a typical daily schedule for canines in daycare?

The daily schedule begins with open play and walks in the morning as canines are arriving and getting settled in. Follow upped  by mind games that will help to stimulate them mentally. A walk, lunchtime, open, walk,play, agility and additional brain games. Canines are always able to rest at their leisure.

How do you handle anxiety for new pups starting training or attending daycare?

As for anxiety, it's always slow and steady. We have asked families to consider beginning with a half a day of daycare. This will allow the canine to understand the behaviors present in front of them with canine communication and body language, helping them to build more confidence in being in a room with other dogs. We also begin older canines in the room with our puppies, so they don't feel so overwhelmed with canines that may be their size or larger. In regards to training, anxiety is handled at the canines pace.

Can you accommodate special needs or requirements for individual canines?

Yes, we can work with Canines of all special needs and disabilities including blindness, deafness, and limited mobility. We can also administer any type of medication.

How are aggressive or anxious canines handled during training/daycare?

Aggressive or anxious canines in training are only able to partake in our private option. Our goal is to work through the challenges, allowing the canine to build trust with their Canine Coach, in turn helping the canine to be motivated enough to learn and grow. In regards to daycare, we do not allow aggressive canines into daycare, but we have welcomed them once they completed and graduated their training program and able to be reunified with other canines.

Can I visit the facility before enrolling my canine in training/daycare?

Yes, we welcome and encourage all families to visit us before booking any services. And it is mandatory for all training. Book an in person evaluation here

Do you offer any follow-up support or refresher courses after the initial training program?

We offer our families lifetime support. This means that for the life of the Canine that has completed training with us, we will always be available via phone, email or video at no extra cost. Even if the family has to come back in facility for an evaluation of new behaviors that are not the cause of unmaintained training. 

Our families that want to attend additional training programs are offered a discount.
